There are some cameos and events that will make a lot more sense and hit you in the feels just a little more if you have some background information! I will say it again though, if you haven’t read The Dark Elements trilogy yet, I definitely would before this book.

I really enjoyed that book and was really happy that the release of the sequel was right around the corner. Not too long ago, I posted my review for Storm and Fury.
